To acknowledge that prayer is an essential part in the fulfillment of the mission of Christian education. Who Should Coordinate Program! The Home and School Association prepares breakfast buffet; the principal/teacher coordinates the program in consultation with the school staff and school board chair. When Should It Be Held. In observance of the said program, the three departments of the Divine Word College of Urdaneta namely, the College, High School, and Elementary, has culminated the celebration of Nutrition Month on July 29. Each department held their programs in different venues inside the campus.

Amidst the extensive heat of the sun, the students, faculty and staff, principal and especially the MAPEH Federated Club Officers of Caraga Regional Science High School still attended and conducted the opening program of Nutrition Month last July 8, 2011 with its theme, “Isulong ang Breastfeeding – Tama, Sapat at Eksklusibo”.
At exactly 3:00 PM, the said program started by a prayer led by Quenee Lavern G. Pongcol, MAPEH Federated Club Secretary (Internal).
Despite the warm of the weather, the Sports Federated Club President, Klent Daryl Christian D. Jardenil and his officers spearheaded the walk-a-thon together with the teachers followed by the opening message of MAPEH Federated Club President, Hyra Leigh G. Bernadez.
The series of activities was then oriented by the heads of different committees: Sean Clark Luinior A. Labastida for the Essay Writing Contest which was held at I- Lavoisier classroom, Japhet B. Escrupolo for the Poster Making Contest which was held at the school Library, Michael Jayson O. Saturos for the Electronic Poster Making Contest at the Computer Laboratory II, Kristoff Polo V. Mosquito for the Nutri-Jingle Contest and the Feeding Program to the 30 lactating mothers by the rest of the officers.
For the students to feel active, an amazing HATAW NA! was lead by the CRSHS Dance Troupe.
All ears were lend to the inspirational message of Mrs. Matilde J. Manliguis, Principal IV, which was followed by the closing remarks of the MAPEH Federated Club Vice-President (Internal) , Ivy Jean J. Turno.
The succeeding successful events were the contests wherein the representative of each section showed what they’ve got in Essay Writing Contest, Poster Making Contest, Electronic Poster Making, all held on the 15th day of July, at 1:50- 5:00 while the Nutri-Jingle Contest was during the Culminating Program on July 29, 2011 at 2:50-5:00 PM which was done simultaneously with the symposium for the 30 lactating mothers that took place at the IV- Darwin classroom.
